It looks like its going to be Kingdom centric, although fans are also worried about Sasha and Rositas future after a very dark conversation that they had near the end of last weeks episode. The show began with the shortest intro yet, which some fans joked was so that The Walking Dead could get in more commercials today. And it really did seem like there were quite a few commercials. After the commercial break, Carol killed a bunch of zombies and went over to The Kingdom to confront Morgan. She wanted to know if what Daryl told her about no one dying was true. Morgan told her that she needed to ask Daryl about that, and he would be willing to go with her right now. Instead, Carol left and went back to her home, clearly upset. Benjamin wanted to skip his drop and go with her to learn how she kills walkers so well. Carol turned him down and told him that he needed to still go on his drop. He was clearly impressed with her hunting and zombie killing skills, and was disappointed in her decision. Before the break, Richard was shown burying his daughter Katys backpack. After the commercial, Ezekiel and Shiva are hanging out when a community member comes to talk to them. The plants have weevils and theyre losing crops, but it can all grow back, she says. Shiva looks majestic in this scene. Ben gives a painting to Morgan, furthering his character development and fans concern about his future. In The Walking Dead, when a character develops a backstory unexpectedly, bad things can happen. Richard warns Morgan not to beat himself up when the time comes that he cant be a good man anymore, in a disturbing conversation. The shopping carts are arranged as an arrow and they follow it to an open grave with a sign, Bury Me Here. This world drives one man mad, Ezekiel says. Ezekiel is told there arent any kings. Fear The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 10 Recap' title='Fear The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 10 Recap' />The Saviors tell them things are unnecessarily tense every time they meet up. Unfortunately, they only have a few melons to offer them this time. The Saviors tell them they want their guns. They wont play ball. The Saviors tell them things are about to get emotional because there are only 1. Ezekiel counted them when they left and there were 1. They said they had to pay for this happening. One of the Saviors looked like he was going to shoot Richard but then he turned his gun next to Richard and shot instead. At that point, there was a commercial break. The show returned and revealed that Benjamin was shot but not dead. They needed to return tomorrow with one melon, no more or less. And they needed to get Benjamin help fast because he was bleeding out. Benjamin was brought to Carols house to get fixed up. He was in danger of bleeding out as they worked on him. Morgan left angry. For a moment, it looked like Morgan was going to lose his mind and go crazy again. He was having flashbacks of his old life. He kicked a box and found the missing melon beneath it. Thats when he remembered Richard showing up, saying, Get your gun up. Fans at this point were wondering if Richard created the shopping cart road block so he could steal a melon and start a war. Did Richard expect to be the one who died, so he dug his own grave, only for Benjamin to be killed How will Morgan react after the commercial break And is Morgan going to go insane againHe was seeing Clear and other flashbacks in his mind. Perhaps its a form of PTSD that he just cant get rid of. After the commercial break, Richard confessed to Morgan. Gavin said hed be next, so he thought he would be the one killed when he stole the melon. He didnt expect it to be Ben. Richard talked about being in the camp when it all started, and how he always heard babies crying. Then his daughter. He wasnt going to make that mistake again. Richard wants to turn things around, gain the Saviors trust back, and then kill them, joining with Alexandria and the Hilltop. You have to kill, he told Morgan, or you might as well kill yourself. Someone had to die. I tried to be the one. He made the decision on his own and left them unprepared. Thats not what a good leader does. We return to the scene that started right before the opening credits with one melon in a truck for tribute. Richard didnt tell Ezekiel the truth, Morgan finds out as they wait for the Saviors at the drop. But theres no time to explain this to Ezekiel. The Saviors arrive and find out Ben died. The leader is NOT happy about that. Hes very upset that Ben died, and thats a surprising reaction. Richard delivers them the single melon. And thats when the unexpected happens. Watch the scene below Morgan rushes forward and beats Richard in front of the Saviors. He loses it, reverts back to his old self, and beats and strangles Richard to death in front of everyone. And we had your offering when we left, had it all, he took one from the cargo and he hid it when we stopped, Morgan said. We wanted to show you that we get it. We understand what it is that we need to do. In doing this, Morgan gained the Saviors trust, just like Richard had suggested. He carried out Richards plan, by killing Richard just like Richard had wanted. But then Morgan accidentally said, Thats why Duane had to die. Instead of saying Benjamin. Duane is Morgans son, and seeing Benjamin die must have brought up his memories and feelings from when his son died. Ezekiel doesnt want Morgan to be alone, but Morgan wont go with him. Morgan buries someone, kills zombies, and goes to Carol. He tells her what happened, how the Saviors killed Abraham and Glenn. Then how Spencer and Olivia were killed too. How Rick wants to fight them and thats why Jesus brought them. He tells her what happened with Richard. Where are you goingMorgan says hes going to kill them one by one. Carol stops him. She takes her bag and goes to the Kingdom to see Ezekiel. Im going to be here now, she tells him. Did you expect her to make that decision At the end we see Morgan. And we may get updates on whats going on with Gabriel and Daryl. The trailers are hinting that we may also see the Oceanside Community again. This could be a pretty big episode. At the end of last weeks episode, Rosita had seen a strange man just outside Negans perimeter, and he looked a lot like Daryl. But it would have been very difficult for Daryl to get there that quickly. There are a lot of unanswered questions that fans are hoping will be resolved. She told him they had an armory, and we see shots interspersed of Ricks group at the waterside. We see barnacle covered zombies and Tara leading Rick and company through a forested area. Right before the commercial break, we see zombies coming off a shipwrecked boat. After the break, we returned to the Hilltop community. Maggie is giving gardening tips and then heads outside the wall to get a blueberry bush. Next scene Rick is helping Michonne up a tree. They talk about the clock starting as soon as shes in. Michonne has a gun, so she may be up there as a sniper of some sort. Jesus is setting up an explosive with Daryl. Aaron and Eric are talking and Eric gets character development, which makes fans worried. Then we return to Negans compound, where Sasha has been caught and is being held in a cell. David introduces himself to her and tells her he gave the rope to the guys who tied her up. He acts very rapey and says shes pretty. He asks if he gives her water, if shell do something for him. Sasha tells him to go to hell and hits him in the head with her head. Hes still being creepy, but gets interrupted by Negan, who tells him not to rape her. He then kills David in front of Sasha. Negan remembers she was in Ricks group. He asks if Rick put her up to this. Sasha says no. Negan tells her shes not going to die, but this could be the beginning. He leaves the knife he used to kill David with Sasha and says its her. But he advises her not to use it to try to kill him. Instead, he suggests using it to save herself before David becomes a zombie. He wants Sasha to help him run the place one day. We are not monsters, he tells her. Later, Eugene arrives and brings Sasha a pillow and blanket. He advised her to accept the offer, even if its a hold your nose kind of suggestion. He told her he was terrified and seeing what happened to Abraham and Glenn, survivors, he just couldnt face it again. Sasha told him to leave. Eugene observed David was starting to turn. She says its never too late to change and he can come by later and talk to her. She asks him to keep an eye out while she finishes outside the wall. He gets out his knife, overlooking the area, and watches her. He leers over her, obviously tempted to stab her. But he doesnt. A walker appears and Gregory offers to kill it for Maggie and not let the pregnant woman protect him. Gregory backs out at the last minute and lets Maggie fight it, but then hes attacked from behind by a zombie and cries out to Maggie to save him. She does. A group stops by and Maggie says, He hasnt killed one before, hes learning. They say, Thats not what he told us. In the next scene, were at the Oceanside Community where everyone is happy and relaxed. Tara is hiding in one of the buildings and surprises the leader with a gun. Cindy arrives and Tara tells her, I didnt have a choice. She tells them her friends are out there and they need their guns because theyre going to fight the Saviors. They killed my friends. They took everything from us. Michonne is shooting around people, not at them. Jesus stops one group and tells them to get on the ground. Cindy pulls a gun on Tara and realizes Taras gun was unloaded. Rick says they are taking their weapons and that wont change. Cindy tells the group that they want them to fight the Saviors, and Natania says they wont win. Tara tells Natania nothing will change, even if she does kill her. Some of you actually want to fight them, after everything Natania is angry. It looks like the explosion drew them. They fight the zombies as a team and win. But Natania still insists they wont fight with Rick, despite many people in the town wanting to. We return to Negan, and they look in on Sasha to see what she decided. Sasha is alive and killed the zombie. Who told Negan about Ricks plans Or is Negan just bluffing and using an interrogation tactic In the next scene, Gregory is drinking and asks to be driven somewhere. I wont. She tells Eugene she feels trapped and he has to help her. It has to be over, she said, telling Eugene he has to give her something so she can kill herself. One way or another hes going to use me to hurt my friends. Its the only way. Eugene says he will consider it. Sasha says thank you and has a really weird smile on her face. In the next scene, were back at the Oceanside Community. Ricks group is taking all their guns. Gabriel is concerned theyre taking too much, but Rick says they need it all. Tara says theyll bring the guns back. Cindy says she wants to go with her, but it has to be all of them or none of them. Cindy thanks Tara for what theyre doing. Rick asks Tara if shes OK. Tara says yes, they dont have to feel bad. In the next scene, Eugene said he granted Sashas request and passes her a poisoned pill. Rosita lets them in. In a cell is Dwight. Daryl lunges at him, but Rick pulls him back. He wants to help us, Rosita says. Dwight says he does want to help. Ok, Rick says, get on your knees.
